I went to see an exhibition on the works of Henry Van de Velde recently, and in it there was a portrait of him done by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner which I really liked (as well as loving the art deco style chairs Henry Van de Velde designed). I’ve tried to copy the portrait, and I’ve also done another couple of sketches of two of my friends in the same style..
