I went to see Art Brussels a few days ago and liked a lot of the block colour paintings they had on show. They inspired me to paint a few of the blank canvases I had lying around, and call them something that implies they have a deep meaning. Getting a perfect even colour is harder than one would think so they have a bit of colour variation and are not a perfect colour block, but I’m telling you now this only adds to their deep meaning as a series. They are intended to be put up on one of the walls but that step could take a while (HINT HINT boyfriend please get on to that), so for now they look all right on the bookshelf.
I call this series ‘communication’
