Just before I went on my travels to Australia, I went along to Strasbourg with my boyfriend as he had to go there for his work with the EU. It’s a gem of a city(if you go make sure you walk up to the top of the cathedral – it’s knackering getting up the twisty windy steps with the wind howling through the windows of the stairwell, but the view is well worth it, even if like me the way down is the final straw for your knee) .
