San Francisco

After two weeks off up in the Lake District visiting my family, I’m now back in Brussels and artathoning once more. I feel like I’m just warming up at the moment and getting back into drawing again so I don’t think these water colour postcards are my best work, but no.156 has the potential to be the inspiration for a good acrylic painting.

I’ve chosen San Fran because my friends Anj and Dom met there and they’ve been so generous to me in terms of a)motivational talks and b)art materials presents that I want to paint them something special, and doing a small scale watercolour postcard always helps me prior to painting an acrylic version.
