I’m not sure how I feel about either of these two paintings, as neither of them are my usual style, but they were fun to paint. I love our garden and given how much time I spend at home (A LOT – it was high pre-covid but has been even higher post-covid) it is my place of solace. I have no real idea what I’m doing when I’m gardening but I think it looks beautiful, and I want to be able to capture that on canvas.
