British cartoonist/artist/mother with eco-anxiety living in Brussels
My name is Lara. In 2013, by the age of 29 and having never been fired, I’d worked as a project engineer in a deodorant factory for one of the largest producers of consumer goods in the world, as an accountant at one of the Big 4 Accountancy firms, as a technology analyst at the largest technology consulting and outsourcing firm in the world, as a façade engineer and building services engineer at two of the biggest engineering consultancy firms in the world in Hong Kong, and as a sustainability consultant at a tiny environmental consultancy firm in Croydon and for one of largest corporate real estate firms in the world in London. Suffering from quite severe RSI in my arms and general burnout, I decided I needed to escape from the corporate rat race and embrace my creative side… quite possibly permanently. It’s been nearly ten years now and this is what I’ve been up to during my escape:

Drop me an email with the kind of personalized cartoon you are interested in, what size you would like, a photo/photos I can use to draw from and any captions or speech you’d like added. And let me know which country you live in so I can estimate delivery costs!
2.
Details
I’ll let you know how much the cartoon will cost and in what time-frame I can deliver it, and if I need any more photos/information to create the picture(s).
3.
Sketch
If you decide to go ahead with the order I’ll send you a sketch for your approval, make any changes you’d like and then get to work on the final cartoon!
4.
Delivery
I’ll let you know when it’s finished, and once I’ve received your payment (via Paypal) I will either post the original cartoon to you or email you a high quality scanned image, depending on what we’ve agreed.
