This painting of one of my artathon postcards has been frustrating me for a few days now. I'm still not sure I've got it right - I think I will have to do some repainting at a later date, but for now this is how it's looking:

Phew, I was getting worried I'd lost my mojo after I tried to 'fix' my New York Reflections painting and completely ruined it, but I like this one of Brisbane.
Writing this while it's absolutely pissing it down in Brussels and has been all week- I miss Australia!! Brisbane was my favourite Aussie city and Fraser Island was absolutely bloody gorgeous.
Bondi Beach - 30cmx30com Acrylic painting. I'm not so sure about this one, so I'm going to give it 24 hours and paint over it if it hasn't grown on me by then.
I'm using the postcards that I painted today of my Australia trip to replace a number of postcards I created earlier this year as part of my artathon (a challenge I've set myself to paint 365 postcards in 2014) and haven't been satisfied with. It's made me want to go back to Aus!
