We had a fun but exhausting weekend in De Heen with a group of friends and all our children in March 2019. I would recommend the Air BnB we stayed in (Sluiswachterswoning + appartement) but note that it is on a tiny island only accessible by a pedestrian bridge that is only lowered for a certain amount of time which makes getting there with bags and small children an interesting experience!
