For the first time in FOREVER (6 years?) I had two nights away from my children and I met a couple of friends in Paris. It was a super easy journey on the Thalys from Brussels to Paris, and we had a really nice time despite the ongoing strikes in France. It’s amazing how much you can do in a day when you are not catering to a tiny persons needs all the time!
