We went to Scheveningen in the Netherlands for the June long weekend, which coming so soon after our Limburg adventures felt like a bit of a mistake as we were packing, but it turned out to be a very nice trip!
We have some good friends who live nearby in The Hague so we saw them, but stayed in an apartment overlooking the marina as they have recently had a baby. There were high winds and it wasn’t very warm, but we managed to avoid the rain and see Sea Life, take a ride on the Ferris wheel at the end of the pier (which was a mistake- with the wind making our cabin rock it was terrifying!), and fit in multiple dune playground trips and beach walks!
