Exmoor

It’s been ages since I last posted because of our house move in September which seems to have taken all of my time and energy. Finally feeling somewhat settled in the new house so I’ve some time to do some drawing and I’m catching up on holiday cartoons! We went to Exmoor in the summer with my side of the extended family which was really fun, although ha trying to feed 16 people three times a day was somewhat of a challenge. We stayed in a cottage at Duddings which wasn’t the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in, but had everything you could want to keep everyone entertained- ponies, giant trampoline, indoor pool, table tennis, playground and crucially a big field for intensely competitive family games of Molkky.

The whole area was very beautiful, especially ‘little Switzerland’ Lynmouth with the funicular up to Lynton and part of the South West Coast path overlooking the sea, and it was so nice to have the family all together as belated celebration for my 40th and mum’s 70th.
