This sequence of events is a regular occurrence on our walks home together from the playground.

*Our two year old goes to a local French speaking creche, and so she speaks a mix of French and English. She very often says the verb in French – so ‘Mummy I fell over’ is ‘Mami I tombeed!’ (and any incident from the smallest bump to an actual fall is a tombe! event)
